Latest News for the Big Man's visit to Bute
We've got a fantastic line-up of events on Bute during the Big Man's visit
Friday 25th Lantern Procession
meet on Argyle Terrace at 7pm
Procession through Skeoch Woods
to the sailing club. When we get there the Watchers will summon the Giant
we'll launch a Giant Lantern to to light his way
Sat 26th Giant Welcome
from 10.30am in Guildford Square strange happenings!!
at midday the Watchers summon the Giant
the Big Man is given a tour of the Town 1.30pm
Finish by 3.30pm
Sat 26th -Giant Nite Out
6.30 at Guldford Square
Cailidh Band, Dancing, Film Show, food and fun for all the family
Ends 9pm
Sun 27th Opening the Tramway
meet in Port Bannatyne Park from 10.30am
Walk with the Giant to Ettrick Bay
Events and Happenings on the way and at the beach
Ends 5pm
Mon 28th Wave Goodbye
We'll meet at Craigmore Pier from 10.30am
our last chance to say goodbye

Comment by David on Bute on September 21, 2009 at 11:11pm - Maybe you should put in a pin for Ettrick Bay at the end of the Tramway (end of B875) That's where all the sandcastles will be build, maybe the Giant will be going in for a paddle!!
